Managing Director: Tebogo Matabane

Professional Accountant (SA)

Tebogo is a Certified Professional Accountant (SA) registered with the South African Institute of Professional Accountant (SAIPA) and he has more than ten years experience in accounting and auditing of public departments, municipalities and public entities. During this period of ten years, Tebogo was responsible for ensuring that government departments, municipalities and public entities comply with Public Financial Management Act (PFMA), Municipal Financial Management Act (MFMA), Division of Revenue Act (DORA) and other acts and regulations regulating the public sector. 

He has vast experience in preparation of GAMAP/GRAP compliant financial statements, and also worked as a compliance specialist, were he successfully completed his compliance audit for South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC).

Tebogo commenced his career at The Office of the Auditor General as a trainee accountant and he completed his articles in 2007. He is dedicated, hardworking and committed to his work. He provides quality service delivery to both Matabane Professional Accountants and its clients. 

His responsibilities as a Managing Director and Engagement Director includes compiling and reviewing audit plans, managing audit engagements, as well as preparing management letters and all related documentation for government departments, municipalities and public entities and other clients from the private sector. His leadership responsibilities on the work include managing, coaching and transferring skills to junior staff .

Tebogo has prepared financial statements, fixed assets registers, management reports and audit reports for various engagements from local government, public departments, public entities and private sector clients.
